Biaxially oriented polyester film containing a chain extender and its production method. An independent claim is included for preparing the polyester film, comprising extruding the composition of the film corresponding melts by a flat nozzle, quenching the resultant film for solidifying on one or more rolls (cooling roll) as large amorphous prefilm, and reheating, biaxially stretching (orienting), thermofixing and rolling the film.
