Hot filling assembly with heat recovery

The hot bottling plant (1) has a heat exchanger (6) for preheating the liquid to a temperature. A heater (10) is arranged downstream the heat exchanger for heating the liquid to another temperature which is higher than the former temperature. A distribution rack (12) is arranged downstream the heater for dividing the liquid in a fraction to be filled in bottles. A cooler (18) is provided whose return line (18d) is connected with the flow line (6b) of the heat exchanger (6) to transfer heat energy from cooler to heat exchanger. An independent claim is included for hot-filling of liquid, particularly soft drinks.
