<p>Non-destructive concrete quality control using of radioactive isotope. Before concreting, a pipe liner is positioned in the foundation trench. In it, the density reference values of the concrete are measured by using a reflection gamma probe. The position of the liner in the foundation concrete is secured by distance rings. To determine density and pressure resistance values, test bodies are worked from the differently rammed concrete blocks, which are also used during calibrating. For tests, the isotope Cs 137 is used, to adapt the active range of the probe to the width of the foundation concrete.</p> |
