The method involves forming a hole at a position of a workpiece (12) provided for an internal thread before impact extrusion of internal thread, where the diameter of the hole is greater than the thread external diameter of a bolt (5). The internal thread and an external thread of a housing component i.e. bearing plate, are formed by cold impact extrusion of the workpiece using the bolt, where the bolt comprises a tool external thread serving as a negative mold for the internal thread.
