<p>A sheet overlap unit 100 includes: an overlap cylinder 110 having a peripheral surface in contact with a paper sheet 1 and a gripper unit for holding the paper sheet 1; upper and lower infeed rollers 181 and 183 and the like receiving the paper sheet 1 from the overlap cylinder 110, and then transporting the paper sheet 1 to a laminate unit 40; and outfeed wheels 121 provided to face the overlap cylinder 110, and holding the paper sheet 1 in cooperation with the overlap cylinder 10 so as to transfer the paper sheet 1 to a position between the upper and lower infeed rollers 181 and 183. In the sheet overlap unit 100, the paper sheet 1 is held by the outfeed wheels 121 in cooperation with the overlap cylinder 110 before the gripper unit of the overlap cylinder 110 releases the hold of the paper sheet 1.</p> |
