The disk (1) has arms (2) that are distributed radially outside over a circumference. The arms are manufactured by forging process and bent to claws (3) in a direction of a rotational axis (4) of the disk. Grooves (7) are formed longitudinally by side edges of the claws by material shaping for receiving permanent magnets, where the side edges (8) are turned towards the adjacent claws. A single-piece axial attachment piece (5) is radially provided within the claws. One of two side plates (9) forming a groove is manufactured by wall ironing process. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a magnet wheel disk.
