Concentrated milk powder product. After primary spray drying, to a moisture above requirements, part of the concentrate is drawn off for secondary drying to moisture below requirements. This part is then returned to the spray dried remaining powder before the drying air has been removed from this spray dried powder component. The product is improved in quality, and outlay for plant and personal reduced. The over dry and still moist powder components meet an agglomerate or sinter together to provide improved solubility.
