The system (1) has a supply system for culture water, with a filter system provided with a separation filter and a sedimenter. A lifting system is provided with lifting containers (4), which is selectively filled with water or air. The supply system is operated as completely closed system without supply of an aquatic environment in the culture water and without removal of the culture water into the environment. The filter system has a filter module for cleaning the culture water by suspended sediments and dissolved substances and for reducing carbon dioxide and nitrates.
