<p>An indwelling needle assembly (1) and a protector (6) are provided. The indwelling needle assembly (1) has an inner needle (2), an inner needle hub (3), an outer needle (4), an outer needle hub (5), and a protector (6) for protecting the needle point (21) of the inner needle (2) arranged on the outer periphery of the inner needle (2) so as to be slidable in the axial direction. The protector (6) includes a protecting member (61) in which the needle point (21) of the inner needle (2) is stored and a closing member (62) arranged on the outer periphery of the protecting member (61) so as to be capable of sliding, a displaceable side wall (63) which is capable of being displaced inward so as to close a distal opening (612) of the protecting member (61), the displaceable side wall (63) being displaced inwardly by the closing member (62) arranged on the outer periphery of the distal end portion of the protecting member (61).</p> |
