<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power supply reliability in a double uninterruptible power supply system. <P>SOLUTION: The uninterruptible power supply system is provided with a bypass power supply selection switch 32, which when a first power system 10 and a second power system 20 are sound, selects any of these systems and supplies power to a first bypass switch 15 and a second bypass switch 25. When overcurrent is generated in a load system 200 during supplying power to load systems 100, 200, with the output of UPS 11 to 13 and the output of UPS 21 to 23, corresponding to the first and the second power systems both in phase-synchronized to the output of the first power system 10; the operation of the UPS 21 to 23 is stopped and the second bypass switch 25 is switched to ON-state, to supply power to the load system 200 from the first power system 10, improving the power supply reliability on the whole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
