<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing degradation of coke quality in a method for producing coke by loading a mixture of a plurality of waste plastics into a coke oven and making a dry distillation therein. SOLUTION: This method for producing coke using waste plastics is a method for producing coke which comprises loading coal and a specified amount of waste plastics into the carbonizing chamber 12 of a coke oven 11 and making a dry distillation therein, specifically comprising previously adding a specified amount of a caking additive at 1-7 mass% to the coal and/or the waste plastics according to the kind of the waste plastics mixing with the coal and mixing ratio thereof, then mixing the resultant, forming a mixture by homogeneously mixing together the coal, the waste plastics and the caking additive at a specified mixing ratio with the mixing rate of the waste plastics being <=3 mass%, and medially loading them dispersedly all over the carbonizing chamber of the coke oven or layerdly loading the mixture vertically within a specific range.</p> |
