Sliding roof for vehicle with a movable gutter

The vehicle's sliding roof has a roof cover which is movable from a closed position into a lowered and rearwards-slid open position. A movable water drain channel (5) is installed on the rear edge of the sliding cover, the movement of which is guided by a mechanism which is designed in such a way that during the lowering of the cover and/or during the movement of the cover rearwards the drain channel is displaced in relation to the cover forwards with regard to the direction of travel.
