The invention relates to medical technology and can be used in manufacturing seats for handicapped persons with disorders of locomotor system in lumbar part of backbone. A method for manufacturing orthotic seat involves placement of patient in the chair on elastic hermetically sealed pad filled with granular material, decompression of granular material by means of vacuum pump for modeling negative of patient anatomic form on the elastic pad, modeling gypsum negative of patient anatomic form according to the made form, application of releasing layer of composition based on silicon rubber on external surface of the gypsum negative and mounting processed gypsum negative to restricting form followed by filling space between those with polyurethane composition.
