PURPOSE: A special spot storage unit and method at a navigation device is provided to automatically up load an error spot to a navigation server after storing a screen capture and voice recording about the error spot. CONSTITUTION: A special spot storage unit comprises a GPS receiver(102), a memory(104), an input unit(106) and a controller(100). The GPS receiver produces the current position on the signal from the GPS satellite. An electronic map database including local map data is saved in the memory. The input unit is transmitted the control command from a user. The controller performs the navigation service on marked data.
