POWER INDUCTOR USING EMBEDDED COILS AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A power inductor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to facilitate mass production of a power inductor by welding an embedded coil which is manufactured in advance to a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A power inductor(10) comprises a magnetic sheet main body(14), an embedded coil(11), and a terminal(12). The magnetic sheet main body has the thickness ranges from 0.1mm to 1.5mm. The embedded coil is arranged within the magnetic sheet main body. The terminal is surface-contact with the side and a part of an upper side of the magnetic sheet main body. The end part of the terminal is welded with the end part of the embedded coil. An insulating material is spread in an exterior of the magnetic sheet main body except for the terminal part.
