<p>PURPOSE: An air-conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to accurately determine whether snow is falling or not by comparing an outdoor condition with a fallen snow prevention condition. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner comprises an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The outdoor unit comprises an outdoor unit measuring part(10) and an outdoor controller(20). The outdoor unit measuring part measures outdoor conditions. The outdoor unit measuring part comprises a temperature sensor(12) and a hydrometer(16). The temperature sensor measures outdoor temperatures. The hydrometer measures the outdoor humidity. The outdoor controller controls the operation of an outdoor fan of the outdoor unit.</p> |
