PURPOSE: An apparatus for electro-chemical machining is provided to enhance machining precision by eliminating position error depending on a relative position change between an electrode and a workpiece when an electrode moves. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for electro-chemical machining(ECM) comprises a lower guide unit(10), an electrode fixing unit(20), an upper guide unit(30) and a frame(40). The lower guide unit is electrically connected to a power supply(17). A workpiece(100) is placed inside the lower guide unit. The electrode fixing unit is arranged at the upper part of the lower guide unit. An electrode(50) in the electrode fixing unit is electrically connected to the power supply. The upper guide unit is installed at the lower end of the electrode fixing unit facing the lower guide unit. The upper guide unit is selectively engage with the lower guide unit and guides and fixes the location of the workpiece. The frame supports and moves vertically the electrode fixing unit.
