PURPOSE: A touch screen display substrate and a touch screen display apparatus having the same are provided to enlarge the size of a switching element by forming a sensing unit at a region having an area corresponding to plural pixel regions. CONSTITUTION: Plural pixel units include 1st and 2nd pixel columns. The 1st pixel column is arranged in a 1st direction, and the 2nd pixel column is arranged in a 2nd direction. The 1st and 2nd are crossed each other. Pixel electrodes are arranged on plural pixel regions(P1,P2), and the plural sensing units are arranged in an area corresponding to the plural pixel units. The sensing units sense the touches.
