SUPER ABSORBENT RESIN USING PVA FILMS AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A highly absorbent resin is provided to ensure high absorbance to water and saline solution and to maintain resin characteristic without harm to human body. CONSTITUTION: A highly absorbent resin has 300-1000% of absorbance to water or 0.9% of saline solution in cross-linking agent-fixed polyvinyl alcohol film. The cross-linking agent is polycarboxylic acid containing butanetetracarboxylic acid, malic acid, and citric acid; a cyclic urea compound having dimethylol dihydroxyethylene urea; or an aldehyde compound having formaldehyde.
