<p>PURPOSE: A portable electronic device for inputting Hangul in a portable electronic device, and a method thereof are provided to input a Hangul character conveniently and rapidly by inputting a Hangul character as morpheme unit. CONSTITUTION: If an input morpheme is a dependent morpheme, a portable electronic device displays a morpheme which is compatible with a pre-inputted different morpheme(S102,S103). The portable electronic device converts the received key input into a character string(S105), and searches the morpheme(S106). The morpheme includes the character string, and a user selects at least one morpheme among the morphemes if searched morphemes are plural, the user selects one morpheme among the plural morphemes(S107,S109). The portable electronic device inputs one of the plural morphemes(S110).</p> |
