PURPOSE: A method and a terminal for remotely controlling a mobile communication terminal are provided to use the various functions of a mobile communication terminal by remotely controlling the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: An input module(328) receives a control command associated with the use of a mobile communication terminal, and a screen relay interface(321) displays data related to the control command. A remote system control module(322) converts the control command and the data related to the control command into data which can be processed in the mobile communication terminal. A remote background service module(323) packs the data, which can be processed in the mobile communication terminal, to generate packing data. A data transmission layer(324) transmits the packing data to the mobile communication terminal.
