BROADCASTING RECEIVER AND METHOD FOR LOCKING WATCH BROADCASTING SIGNAL USING A MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for restricting watching broadcasting using a broadcasting receiver and a mobile terminal are provided to selectively resolve the operation of restricting watching broadcasting of the broadcasting receiver by using the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: An IP-STB(100) sets information of restriction about watching broadcasting through a wireless communication with a mobile communication terminal(500). The IP-STB performs operation of restriction about watching broadcasting based on the information of restriction about watching broadcasting. The IP-STB set the information of restriction about watching broadcasting through local area Bluetooth communication and RF(Radio Freauency) communication with the mobile communication terminal. If a wireless communication with the mobile communication terminal is possible, the IP-STB inquires restriction clearance about watching broadcasting. The IP-STB selectively performs an operation of restriction about watching broadcasting according to the result of the inquiries.
