IPTV CONTENTS SEARCHING SYSTEM BASED ON VOICE RECOGNITION AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An IPTV content searching system based on voice recognition and a method thereof are provided to register originating numbers for controlling an STB and control the STB at a remote place, thereby allowing or restricting watching of an IPTV. CONSTITUTION: If a call of a user is received, a voice recognition server(230) recognizes a call of the user to extract a content name that the user wants to search. An IPTV(Internet Protocol TV) control server(240) transmits content information corresponding to the content name to an STB(Set-Top Box) of the user. The voice recognition server inquires STB information of the user and a personal service platform of the user based on an originating number of a received call and transmits it to the IPTV control server.
