An augmented reality system using a simple frame marker, a method thereof and a recording medium in which a program for realizing the method is stored are provided to perform the collection of specific points only inside a marker frame by including the marker frame for showing the position of a natural view image. A simple frame marker(210) has a marker(211) and a marker frame(212). The marker is the symbol of a virtual object of the augmented reality environment. The marker frame shows the location information and direction information of the marker. A maker recognizer(220) recognizes the marker. A simple frame marker tracing unit(230) traces the marker through the marker frame and perform a function of estimating the pose.
