PURPOSE: An inverter is provided to drive several kinds of motors by selecting a selection switch according to a kind of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A rectifying unit(110) changes an AC power source of a single phase or three-phase to a DC. A control signal input/output unit(120) inputs and outputs motor information and task information according to manipulation of an operator. A controlling unit(130) generates a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal by using motor information inputted from the control signal input/output unit. A gate driving unit(140) outputs a switching driving signal in response to the PWM signal. A motor driving unit(150) supplies a driving current in response to the switching driving signal to the motor.
