A waterproof light has a socket (10), a lens (20), an LED (30) connecting to two wires (31) mounted in the lens (20), and may further have a partition (40) mounted in the lens (20). The socket (10) is formed by two casings (11) corresponding and being mounted together to hold the lens (20). Each casing (11) has a lens recess (112) and two wire grooves (113), wherein a protruding grip (116) is formed in one of the wire grooves (113) and multiple ribs (118) are formed in the wire grooves (113) and on the protruding grip (116). The protruding grips (116) hold and bend the wires (31) in the socket (10) to prevent the wire (31) from being pulled out. The ribs (118) of the two casings (11) prevent water from entering the socket (11). |
