PURPOSE: A system for monitoring the safety of a structure using a tilt sensor, and a monitoring method are provided to monitor whether a structure is safe or not in real time regardless of an attached position of the system. CONSTITUTION: A system for monitoring the safety of a structure using a tilt sensor comprises tilt sensors(110). The tilt sensors are installed in a structure(101) at equal intervals. The tilt sensor comprises a sensing module(112) and a transmitting module(114). The sensing module measures the incline of an installed position by measuring acceleration applied to the sensing module. The transmitting module transmits sensed incline data to outside.
