Method for diagnostics of type of shigellosis course in children of early age includes determination of acute phase characteristics of inflammatory reaction. In sample of blood serum one determines concentration of prostaglandins E (PGE) and F2 α (PGF2 α)vwith diagnostics of plane or recurring course of shigellosis.
