METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND CONSTRUCTING RANGING CHANNEL BASED ON VARIOUS RELAY FRAME STRUCTURE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting and constructing a ranging channel based on various relay frame structures in a mobile communications system is provided to reduce the interference in a ranging step by configuring plural ranging channels for the various frame structures of an IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.16m relay. CONSTITUTION: A ranging channel is formed in an uplink subframe of a BS(Base Station) frame, and a ranging channel 2 is configured to perform random access between the BS and an RS(Relay Station) that is directly connected to the ranging channel. Ranging channels 3 and 4 for transparent and non-transparent relay modes are configured. A terminal transmits to the BS or the RS a ranging signal including the configured channels.
