FIELD: power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes stepped motion of nuclear reactor control rod and electronic processing of data that contains coded information on displacement of nuclear reactor control rod. Prior to stepped movement, control rod position is calibrated by its movement until it achieves minimum controlled level of reactor power, and with the help of stationary equipment of nuclear reactor, distance of control rod from end switch is determined, which corresponds to minimum controlled level of reactor power, and this distance is converted into binary code and is entered into memory device. Control rod position is monitored in the range of powers that exceed minimum controlled level of reactor power by means of periodical calculation of nuclear reactor reactivity and serial periodical calculation of reactivity increment equal to difference of two serially calculated values of reactivity. Decision on the fact that another step of control rod motion has been completed is taken provided that sum of k serial increments of reactivity produced in process of reactimetre polling amounts to the value that is not less than öüspec., and frequency of reactimetre polling is selected as equal to F=k/ty, where ty is time of reactivity determination as control rod moves by one step, k>>1. Value of control rod motion corresponding to one step and expressed in binary code, is aummed with account of motion direction with previous distance of this rod from end switch coded in memory device. Produced code that corresponds to new position of control rod is again re-recorded in memory device, at the same time current position of control rod is determined by current content of memory device. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability of control rods position due to method independence on outer sources of information. ^ 1 dwg |
