PURPOSE: A lighting system and method for warning fire is provided, which can inform of fire alarm situation by sounding a siren and produce provocative color. CONSTITUTION: A lamp(43) proceeds the illumination function. A fire sensing sensor(41) is installed in the lamp and detects a fire factor. A memory unit(30) stores an execution program for practicing the fire alarm mode. A controller(10) controls sensing of the fire factor by controlling a fire alarm mode conversion according to a selection signal of the fire alarm mode.
