PIPE COUPLING APPARATUS OF AN UNDERGROUND OIL STORAGE TANK

PURPOSE: A pipe coupling apparatus of an underground oil storage tank is provided to simplify installation task by widely forming the width of a flange unit to form a protrusion on the surface of the flange unit. CONSTITUTION: A pipe coupling apparatus is installed in the manhole situated on the top of an underground oil storage tank. The pipe coupling apparatus is installed between a withdrawing pipe and a connection pipe. One end of the pipe coupling apparatus is coupled with the withdrawing pipe and the other end of the pipe coupling apparatus is coupled with the connection pipe. The pipe coupling apparatus comprises a pipe coupling unit(20) and a pipe clamping unit. One and the other ends of the pipe coupling unit are projected coaxially to the left and right of a flange(23-1). The pipe clamping unit surrounds the other end of the pipe joint unit and tightens the pipe joint unit and the connection pipe at the same time. The flange comprises a plurality of straight protrusions(23-1a) upon the surface.
