PURPOSE: A method for coating fire retardant EPS preliminary foams is provided to improve heat insulation by coating the surface of the fire retardant EPS preliminary foaming body with a retardant and an adhesive. CONSTITUTION: A method for coating fire retardant EPS preliminary foams includes the following steps: mixing the fire retardant EPS preliminary foams with retardant components in a mixing container; coating the surface of the EPS preliminary foams with fire retardant components; drying the EPS preliminary foams; forming a fire retardant coating layer on the surface of the EPS preliminary foams; mixing the EPS preliminary foams and adhesive resin; coating the surface of the EPS preliminary foams with the adhesive resin; and drying the EPS preliminary foams; and forming an adhesive resin coating layer on the top of the fire retardant coating layer.
