摘要 PURPOSE: A method for measuring the concentration of the radioactive carbon and an apparatus thereof are provided to prevent the contamination spread to the living environment area by efficiently watching the radioactive carbon. CONSTITUTION: A reaction switching the radioactive carbon within a radioactive sample into the radioactive carbon dioxide is generated in a reactor(40). A first NaOH storing container(60) collects the radioactive carbon dioxide generated in the reactor. A catalytic reactor(70) switches the organic type radiocarbon which is not reacted in the reactor into the radioactive carbon dioxide. A second NaOH storing container(80) collects the radioactive carbon dioxide which is generated in the catalytic reactor. A carrier gas container(10) supplies the deactivation carrier gas transferring the radioactive sample. A pipet(20) for injecting the sample injects the radioactive sample into the reactor.
