FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of loose materials and can be used in agriculture for cleaning grain, flour-and-cereals and construction industries. Separator of longer loose materials comprises housing, loading branch pipe accommodating zigzag-like sieve made up of horizontal and inclined sections, pitched plates and deflectors. Zigzag-like sieve represents strings fitted on and tensioned between multiple-grooved pulleys. String space on horizontal section of strings increases with distance from loading branch pipe. Said pulleys feature different groove-to-groove distance on horizontal sections. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of grain cleaning, reduced height of separator. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
