FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to roller and to its spring. Roller consists of axle (1), of two retaining rings (2, 3) spaced from each other on the axle, one of which (2) is rigidly fixed, while another corresponds to retaining nut (3); also the roller consists of multitude of other rings in form of rolled and/or dividing rings installed between retaining rings (2, 3) and of at least one said spring (7) of the roller limited with two ends (13, 14) spaced form each other along axis. The said spring for the roller contains a circular element made out of flexible material and also has two ends (13, 14) spaced one from another along axis. At the front end (13) of the element there is made at least one first slot (15) running to back end (14) but not touching it; the slot divides two directed forward layers (16, 17) with circular end surfaces (19, 20). On the back end (14) there is made at least one second slot (25) which passes to front end (13) but not touches it, which divides two directed backward layers (27, 28) with circular end surfaces (30, 31). On each of two ends of the element end surface (19, 31) of layer (16, 28) projects along axis relative to end surface (20, 30) of neighbour layer (17, 27). ^ EFFECT: roller contains sturdy spring with long service life and operating without slackening. ^ 23 cl, 4 dwg |
