PURPOSE: An optical fiber assembly which includes a waterproof type optical connector is provided to maintain a communication quality and prevent an optical terminal box or an optical connector from aging by sealing a contact face between the optical terminal box and an optical adaptor. CONSTITUTION: An optical adaptor(11) includes a combination unit which is fixed to a target panel. A sealing unit is interposed between the combination unit and the target panel in order to provide a waterproof function. A waterproof housing(22) surrounds an optical plug and closely bonds to the optical adaptor. A waterproof boot(24) surrounds a plug boot and an optical fiber and closed adheres to the waterproof housing and the optical fiber.
