PURPOSE: A pressure reducing apparatus of a heating medium is provided to prevent the leakage of a heating medium and the burst of a receiving pipe by expanding an expansion tube even though the inner volume of the receiving pipe increases due to temperature rise. CONSTITUTION: A pressure reducing apparatus of a heating medium(101) is composed of an expansion tube(225) and a cover body(222). When a heating medium is expanded due to the temperature rise of the heating medium in a receiving pipe(100), the expansion tube is expanded. The cover body fixes and connects the expansion tube. The expansion tube is in the shape of a spiral coil and is composed of a body(225b) and a tube flange(225a). The body accommodates the heating medium. The tube flange fixes the body. The cover body comprises a cover flange(222a).
