PURPOSE: A water supply device for a steam cleaner is provided to flow in a fixed amount of water to a steam generation part without an influence of water pressure because water is inflow to a steam generation part through an exposed absorbent in a temporary storing container. CONSTITUTION: A water supply device(200) for a steam cleaner comprises: a storage tank(210) which stores water with a discharging pipe(211); a steam generation part(220) which includes an inlet(221) and a heater(250); a connection pipe(230) which interlinks the discharging pipe and the inlet; and an absorbent(240) which is embedded in the steam generation part and covers the heater. The inlet of the steam generation part is formed on the same horizontal level of the discharging pipe of the storage tank.
