METHOD OF DIAGNOSING SPACE-OCCUPYING LESIONS IN REGION OF MEDIASTENUM

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to thoracic surgery, and is intended for intraoperational diagnostics of space-occupying lesions of mediastenium. Visual and operational revision of mediastenium through thoracoports installed in 3 and 5 intercostal spaces on anterior axillary line is carried out. Additionally installed is thoracoport in 7 intercostal space on posterior axillary line. Solution of NaCl 0.9% is supplied into pleaural cavity until active part of ultrasonic sensor submerges completely. Ultrasonic visualisation of anterior part of mediastenium is performed through thoracoport located in 3 intercostal space on anterior axillary line, of posterior mediastenium - through thoracoport in 7 intercostal space. ^ EFFECT: method allows to increase accuracy of diagnostics of space-occupying lesions in region of mediastenium due to eliminbation of air medium and improvement of contact between ultrasonic sensor and space-occupying lesion. ^ 2 ex, 2 dwg
