FIELD: oil and gas industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves connection of electric pulse generator to the well head, and at least to one electrode. As electric pulse generator, there used is high-voltage capacitance gauge. Electrode is installed with earthing at the distance from the well, which is enough to avoid electric breakdown. Pulse voltage is applied between the well head and electrode. There measured is electric capacity when the well is being filled. There made is a number of capacity measurements during flooding, and there determined are values of radius of flooding area of oil formation in real time as per the change of capacity of the flooded area in time. ^ EFFECT: simplifying the method, possibility of its being applied in various field conditions, and implementation of accurate measurements at small sizes of flooding area of oil formation in the well. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
