Image forming system

An image forming device and an image forming method where a controller is adapted to control the stacking of printed sheets such that at resumtion of printing after paper jamming is cleared (where the jammed sheet was the Nth sheet being conveyed to a stacking section with a longer conveying path than that of the subsequent N+1th sheet), the image forming is started with an image corresponding to the Nth sheet and continues with the N+2th sheet. The N+1th sheet is not reprinted because it was already stacked when the Nth got jammed.
