PURPOSE: A variable reducer of an electric motion power steering system is provided to facilitate maximum steering operation during stopping without the increases of the development cost and the layout modification by increasing deceleration ratio and increasing the output of an MDPS system. CONSTITUTION: A variable reducer of an electric motion power steering system comprises an electromagnet, a worm wheel, an actuating gear tooth, and a worm. An electromagnet(20) is mounted on a stirring shaft(10). The worm wheel(30) is integrally mounted on the electromagnet. The actuating gear tooth(40) is inserted between the gear teeth(35) of the worm wheel and is made of permanent magnets. The worm is engaged in the worm wheel.
