PURPOSE: A door checker for a vehicle is provided to reduce noise during the operation of the door checker without excessively setting up a bending angle of a checker arm in which a slider slides. CONSTITUTION: A door checker(10) for a vehicle comprises followings. A plurality of sections having different frictional force with a slider along the longitudinal direction of the checker arm(11) are formed. Coating material having different frictional coefficient is formed along the longitudinal direction of a checker arm. The contact area with a slider(12) is varied along the longitudinal direction of the checker arm according to the constant section. The contact area with the slider is varied along the longitudinal direction of the checker arm according to the constant section.
