PURPOSE: A column structure and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the corrosion of a column due to environmental pollutants by wrapping the column with a cover plate. CONSTITUTION: A column structure(100) comprises a column body(110) and a cover plate(120). The column body is traffic signal post, traffic sign post, or street light post. The cover plate is attached to the column body in order to cover the column body. The cover plate includes an outside mat which is made of a transparent material in which figure is drawn on the inner surface.
