PURPOSE: A bidirectional system providing system and a method thereof through a broadcast division screen are provided to create an additional service by implementing the additional service such as a product purchase by implementing bidirectional communication and an external server. CONSTITUTION: A bidirectional system providing additional service through the broadcast split screen includes a service managing server and a broadcasting reception terminal apparatus. A service managing server(200) transmits service implementing information for execution of a bidirectional additional service. A broadcasting reception terminal apparatus(100) displays the broadcasting program in the first split screens of the terminal screen the bidirectional part performs the activation of a service based upon the user input about the watching TV menu.
