PURPOSE: An intake and exhaust valve apparatus of an automobile engine and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to lower manufacture cost by forming a groove at one side of a valve stem and fitting a retainer lock on the groove. CONSTITUTION: An intake and exhaust valve apparatus of an automobile engine comprises a spring seat(10), a retainer(13), a valve stem(11), a valve spring(12), and a retainer lock(14). The retainer is formed at the upper part of the spring seat at constant distance. The valve stem reciprocates along the groove. The groove is formed at a spring seat through a spring seat and the retainer. The valve spring is formed between the spring seat and the retainer. The valve spring applies the elastic force. The retainer controls the position of the retainer. |
