PURPOSE: A wiper controlling apparatus and a method thereof are provided to drive a wiper even when a parking switch breaks down and inform a driver of the trouble. CONSTITUTION: A wiper controlling apparatus(100) includes a wiper motor, a wiper portion(15), and a controller(20). The wiper motor drives a wiper. The wiper portion wipes a car glass as including a parking switch which senses the location of the wiper motor. The controller operates the wiper portion according to a wiper operation request signal, senses the location of the wiper motor by the parking switch and then controls the driving of the wiper motor. |
