PURPOSE: A dielectric ceramic composition, an electronic component, and their preparing method are provided not to generate cracks despite its thin thickness of 2μm or less. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric ceramic composition comprises a main component, Al2O3, and SiO2. The main component comprises a dielectric oxide represented by the formula of [(Ca1-xSrx)O]m[(Zr1-y-z-αTiyHfzMnα)O2]. In the formula, the 'm' satisfies the inequality of 0.991<=m<=1.010; the 'x' satisfies the inequality of 0<=x<=1; the 'y' satisfies the inequality of 0<=y<=0.1; the 'z' satisfies the inequality of 0<z<=0.02; and the 'α' satisfies the inequality of 0.002<α<=0.05. The dielectric ceramic composition is comprised of 0.1-0.5 mole of Al2O3 and 0.5-5.0 mole of SiO2 on a basis of 100 parts of the main component.
