PURPOSE: A method for reducing the deflagration pressure and an apparatus thereof are provided to achieve the perfect pressure suppression. CONSTITUTION: A method for reducing the deflagration pressure comprises the following steps of: experimentally determining the peak deflagration pressure which is caused by the firing of inflammable gas when any attenuation material does not exist by using an experimental tool having a radius; calculating deflagration blending factors of each of the experimentally determined peak deflagration pressures; and linearizing experimental data which includes a pair of associated peak deflagration pressures and the deflagration blending factors.
